If I offer you anything through this blog, may it be suggestions for having a happier home-life and more peaceful relationship with your family!
As we all know, the summer months are tons of fun, but bring with them that dreaded time of applying sunblock to small, squirmy faces. I don’t blame children for backing away from the sunblock as mommy stoops down and reaches out her hand with a blob of white lotion, heading straight for their eyes. Anyone’s instinct would be to run away! After too-may fussy sunblock applications, I discovered a much-easier approach that you might want to snag, too:
Have your child stand with her back to you so that you can reach over her head to apply the lotion. She can lean against you for a brace and you’ll feel much more natural applying lotion as if you were applying it to your own face. I’m telling ya: it works!
