“I Love to Write and Speak About Jesus…”
My greatest aim is to offer solid biblical teaching and life-changing application so that every Christian woman may walk in the light of God’s Word.
I particularly enjoy encouraging women to thrive in ministry, marriage, motherhood, and home education.

A bit about me:
I live with my husband, Ryan, and our six children on a small farm in Pennsylvania. We are members of Oakwood Presbyterian Church where I currently serve as the Coordinator of Women’s Ministry.
For the past 12 years, I’ve been educating our six children at home, which means that I spend my days snuggling, laughing, reading aloud, preparing food, resolving conflict, sneaking chocolate, matching socks, and expounding on the importance of fresh air and exercise.
Whenever God provides the opportunity, I love to write and speak about Jesus. I hope to offer solid biblical teaching and life-changing application so that every woman may walk in the light of God’s Word. I write at LauraBooz.com and am a guest blogger for TrueWoman.com, enCourage.com, Convenant Eyes, and Sonlight.com.
My education began with my beloved parents, then spiraled out to school teachers, Sunday School teachers, pastors, authors, and friends. I received a B.A. in English Literature and a B.S. in Biology from the University of Richmond and an M.A. in English Literature from Penn State University. I received a Certificate in Women’s Counseling from the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF) and Westminster Theological Seminary.
