We spent most of the day outside today, gasping “can you believe it?!” every time some gorgeous warm air filled our lungs. What a rare opportunity to explore the winter world without our coats and mittens. In the morning, we tromped around Grandpop and Grandmom’s farm; in the afternoon, we explored the woods in our own backyard finding an empty bird’s nest, our somehow-beautiful decaying October pumpkin, a green glass bottle, and “look mom!!” rabbit turds (I caught her hand one milli-moment before she picked one up; she said she thought they were nuts. Of course, maybe at one point in their lives they were…)
I wish I could have captured and posted some fresh air to accompany the pictures, but hopefully you had your windows open today and catch a breath of your own.

She is way too cute! I am very relieved that you saved her from touching the word that is too icky for me to say (ICK!!!) in time! Good reflexes, mama! It was another beauty today, too – we actually rented a U-haul in the afternoon and moved some stuff to the house earlier then planned – it’s been GLORIOUS!
Loved these pictures! What a beautiful place to be on a beautiful day!
Wonderful to be filled with the promise of beautiful days as I glance out at a gloomy, rainy day!
