TODAY’S THE DAY WE’RE ALL LOOKING FOR A SLIVER OF YOUR “SO-FAR” STOREHOUSE:
ADVICE, RESOURCES, LESSONS-LEARNED…
SO, INCLUDE A COMMENT OR LINK UP TO YOUR OWN “SO-FAR” POST.
(I can’t wait to glean your riches!)
In the meantime, I’ve just gotta wrap-up the week with the single-most precious resource we’ve discovered in our 4 years of parenting: prayer.
Although praying for our children seems to happen more naturally than any other type of prayer – the rejoicing, the worries, the longings that are brought to our Father moment after moment – we have appreciated the guidance and inspiration of a handful of resources.
* The Power of the Praying Parent by Stormie O’Martian
* John 17: In an article from Above Rubies magazine, Nancy Campbell encourages parents to pray for our children the way Jesus prayed for us. (I’m looking and looking for the online version so that I can link you up. If I find it, I’ll include the link asap. In the meantime, subscribe to Above Rubies by all means!)
* “Texts to Pray for Our Children” by Jon Bloom
And now – my greatly anticipated moment – some so-far advice from YOU!

All books that I have read and love! I’ll be back later today to link up my post, I’m still working on it!
Hi Laura, I’m so sorry I didn’t link up – I just didn’t have time to write another post! I feel bad…
I’ll try and work on one this weekend! 🙂
Oh, Sarah – no worries! I’ll look forward to a link-up if you have the chance. 🙂
Thanks, MamaHen Em for the priceless insight!
